Welcome to another Paper Adventures Team Blog Hop,
Tonights theme is ‘My Favourite’ this can include anything from DSP, inks, cardstock, stamps, thinlits, embossing, designs and so much more…. the options are endless!!
It was such a hard choice in what to use as I am sure many of you can relate is that choosing a few favourite ‘Stampin’ Up! (r) products is hard let alone one.
As of late my paper crafting has taken a bit of a back seat, but that doesn’t mean I haven’t experienced any withdrawals.
So without stopping the flow of our hop I will give you my favourite paper crafted product.
New In Colour Cardstock Gift Box
I have used 2 of the New In Colour cardstock- Fresh Fig and Berry Burst.
The base of the gift box (berry burst cardstock) measures 12cm x 12cm with the fold in edges measuring 6.8cm with creases at 3.4cm all the way around (take note the corners are cut to contain a tab to join the sides together.) Whisper white cardstock insert measured 12cm x 12cm (but is optional to include.) I decided to stamp the whisper white card stock with the hummingbird from ‘You Move Me’ stamp set using Fresh Fig ink.
The lid (fresh fig cardstock) measures 12.2cm x 12.2cm with the fold in edges measuring 5.2cm with creases at 2.6cm all the way around (take note corners are cut to contain a tab to join the sides together.)
Top of Lid has whisper white cardstock measuring 11.3cm x 11.3cm with the Petal Garden DSP measuring at 11cm x 11cm. I have used the daisy punch to punch out 2 daisies- 1 in fresh Fig and 1 in Berry Burst. To enhance to look of the daisy I added a clear faceted gem. Making use of the oval stitched framelits to display a birthday related sentiment from ‘Pretty Kitty’ stamp set in fresh Fig ink and secured it with dimensionals.
Inside the lid I have used whisper white cardstock insert measuring 12.2cm x 12.2cm (once again optional to include.) I decided the inside of the lid required a pop of colour to match the top of the lid linking the two together by using an off cut of berry burst cardstock measuring 4.4cm x 12.2cm and also cut of piece of Petal Garden DSP measuring 4cm x 10.2cm. I used the oval stitched framelits and stamped the birthday sentiment from ‘Pretty Kitty’ on to using Berry Burst ink and attached it using dimensionals.
